AUSA welcomes affiliated organizations, government, exhibitors and sponsors to meet and host various functions during the 2018 AUSA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, October 8-10, 2018. Choose to host your function at either of the following locations:

  1. Washington Marriott Marquis

    To request meeting space, please contact the hotel directly at 202-824-9200.
    Note the Marriott Marquis is connected to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center via enclosed walkway.

  2. Walter E. Washington Convention Center
    All requests for meeting space at the convention center must be submitted using the 2018 AUSA Event Request Form and sent to Lori Wulf at Please note AUSA receives many requests and meeting space is limited.

AUSA Meeting Space Request Policies

  • No run of show space requests allowed. Max time allotted is 4 hours, per day.
  • Meeting Space Requests are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • The following Meeting Room rentals apply:
    • Non-Members not exhibiting or sponsoring: $800.00 per hour
    • Community Partners and National Partners not exhibiting or sponsoring: $400.00 per hour
    • No charge for exhibiting or sponsoring companies, chapters and Military/Government organizations.
  • Meeting Room rental charges do not include specialty equipment, audio visual, internet, food and beverage or any other costs associated with the room. These charges are the responsibility of the reserving company/organization. A credit card must be on file to process room assignments (for those required to pay a room rental only). If paying by check, the check must be received by AUSA no later than 18 September 2018. Credit cards will be charge on or around 18 September. There will be no refunds or cancellations after the card has been charged or a check has been received.

Pop-Up Meeting Rooms

AUSA will offer “pop-up” meeting space at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. These requests CAN ONLY BE MADE ON SITE starting Sunday, 8 October at 0800 in room 206. Please note this meeting space may only be reserved for a max of 1 hour. All pop-up meeting rooms will be set in a standard configuration and cannot be changed. 16 chairs are seated a primary table with 4 additional perimeter chairs. Additional services including food and beverage, AV and specialty equipment cannot be ordered in these rooms.
