2017 AUSA Global Force Symposium & Exposition

On behalf of AUSA, thank you for joining us our Global Force Symposium and Exposition. We once again have a great event planned for you and are expecting a full house. Our sessions and presentations will reflect this year’s theme, “Delivering Capabilities for Multi-Domain Battle.”

Outlined below is key information to help you prepare for this important event. All of our events take place in the Von Braun Center, unless otherwise noted. We look forward to seeing you in Huntsville!

REGISTRATION HOURS

  • Sunday, March 12: 1300 – 1700
  • Monday, March 13: 0700 – 1830
  • Tuesday, March 14: 0700– 1730
  • Wednesday, March 15: 0700 – 1300

CONCESSION STAND HOURS:

This session will foster conversation on the Army Rapid Capabilities Office’s (RCO) efforts to expedite critical materiel solutions to address current and emerging threats. For this event, the RCO will focus on two primary areas: big data analytics and artificial intelligence for cyberspace operations; and alternative positioning, navigation and timing solutions.

Organized and executed by U.S. Army Materiel Command’s Research, Development and Engineering Command, the AUSA Innovator’s Corner features presentations and exhibits that show how science and technology support the multi-domain battle. Exhibits come from the Department of Defense’s science and technology organizations, to include: U.S. Army ERDC, U.S. Army MRMC, U.S. Army RDECOM, U.S. Army SMDC and NASA.

MILITARY FAMILY FORUM

The AUSA Family Readiness Directorate is proud to host a Military Family Forum titled: “Army Medicine: An Update on Military Healthcare” during this year’s event. Brig. Gen. Ronald J. Place, Commanding General Regional Health Command – Atlantic, will present an update on the changes to the Military Health System (MHS) from the Army Medical Command perspective. Additional speakers and panelists will present programs and initiatives aimed at increasing health and wellness as well as innovations in cancer and PTSD diagnosis and treatment.
