Attendees are encouraged to use Metrorail due to limited parking at and around the Center. The Center is serviced directly by the Yellow or the Green Lines at the Mt. Vernon Square 7th Street-Convention Center station. Other stations on the Blue, Orange and Red lines are within a few blocks of the Center.

No general bus transportation is scheduled for attendees. Shuttle bus service from the Pentagon to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis with priority to military and DA Civilian personnel in an approved duty status who are supporting the event. Buses will run every 30 minutes with the first bus departing the Pentagon at 0600 hours and the last bus departing the convention center at 1730, 9 – 11 October.


Pickup points are at the Metro Bus Platform U8 at the Pentagon and the L Street entrance to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center under the Skywalk.

Buses for the Congressional Staff Breakfast on Tuesday will arrive at approximately 0800 and shuttle back and forth until 1200. The visit to the Arlington National Cemetery and Windshield Tour of DC on Wednesday will pick up at 0930 and return at 1500.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be bus transportation on Wednesday evening for the Marshall Reception and Dinner departing the Pentagon at 1700 and 1730 only and returning after the dinner.
